- Will you make a frame for…
- G45? Yes! The design is almost complete and release should be in Q1 2027. It will be available in a Gen 3 and Gen 5 configuration.
- G26X? Yes, we plan to produce a G26X frame in 2027.
- G17? Yes, likely sometime in 2027.
- G19 Gen 4/5? We will produce Gen 5 frames eventually, but not Gen 4.
- G42/G43? No, we don’t see a large enough market.
- Ruger RXM? Yes, we will eventually. We are looking into how we can get to this project sooner due to the increasing demand.
- Questions about our GG19 frame:
- Does this frame work with Gen 4/5 uppers? No, our frame is a Gen 3 frame and isn’t compatible with later Gen slides, unless they are heavily modified.
- Can I use the GG19 frame to build a G23? Yes, you can put a .40 upper on our frame but there are G23 specific parts you will need to change out (fire control housing with ejector). We’ve had plenty of customers who built the frame this way without issues, but we have not tested it ourselves to determine the endurance limits of the frame with .40. We qualified our frame with 10k rounds of 9mm with no signs of serious damage.
- Can I use the GG19 frame with Gen 2 parts? Yes, but you’ll need to address the locking block: There are some older locking blocks that will not drop in the newer gen3+ frames. It needs to look like this, where the arms that protrude forward extend outward to the side: Locking Block. Here is the old one with the smooth sides that will not work: Wrong Locking Block. And you will need a locking block pin: GLOCK LOCKING BLOCK PIN
- Will this frame work with the Ruger RXM? Our G19 frame will not accept the RXM Fire Control Insert (chassis / FCU). However, the RXM upper is compatible with our G19 frames. The easiest solution is to use one of our assembled frames and pair it with your RXM upper. If you intend to reuse internal parts from your RXM frame with our Grit Grips stripped frame, there are some additional parts you will need: locking block, trigger housing, locking block pin, trigger housing pin. These parts will carry over from your RXM to our fram: trigger bar, trigger spring, connector, slide stop lever, slide lock, slide lock spring, trigger pin.
- Will you restock camo frames? We will continue to restock Black Multicam frames. Any other camo designs will be on a limited special edition basis.
- What can I expect from one of your “BLEM” products? Usually very light cosmetic blemishes that are caused in shipping - like two frames rubbing together. Customers always make fun of our blemishes because they could totally be sold as normal product -but- we don't agree. It's totally worth it and you'll have more wear on the frame after a single use.
- Questions about our GG43x frame:
- What generation is this frame? The 43x platform doesn’t have generations so that is why our frame doesn’t specify a generation!
- Does this frame work with G43 uppers? Yes, G43 slides and G43x slides are identical, except that the G43x slide has a more rounded nose while the G43 slide has a sharper edge on the front which won’t line up with our frame perfectly… but it’s purely aesthetic.
- Will all parts from my G43 frame work with your 43x frame? Yes, except for the magazine catch and slide stop lever. Those parts are specific to the 43x.
- Will all parts from my G43x frame work with your 43x frame? Yes, just make sure to install the slide stop lever correctly. If the spring got off during disassembly or reassembly, the slide stop lever will feel very stiff.
- Will you make G43x/48 slides? Yes, We do plan on having a slide for the GG43x slide at some point, hopefully by the end of the year. I wouldn’t expect anything from us any time soon… unfortunately.
